It pays to have first aid skills. Many employers now require staff to hold a First Aid Certificate in order to fulfil a job role. You can’t learn the first aid skills you need in the critical moments of an emergency - learn the skills now before an emergency situation arises. Know that you can help your colleagues, a loved one or a complete stranger if need be.
In completing Provide First Aid, you will develop the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response. You will learn how to respond in an emergency situation, how to provide first aid procedures, how to report an incident and understand how providing first aid may affect you.
This course will develop your skills and knowledge in being able to treat a person requiring CPR, as well as many other scenarios such as choking, snake bites, fractures, treating asthma and anaphylaxis, bleeding and burns.
Individuals who successfully complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment from the CHC Community Services Training Package.
