Are you looking to use a forklift at work? Before you can start work as a forklift operator, you will need to complete this short course to gain a licence to operate a forklift truck.
You will learn how to operate a powered industrial truck that is equipped with a mast, elevating load carriage and a pair of fork arms or other attachments. You will also learn how to plan work, conduct routine checks on a forklift, shift loads safely and shut down and secure equipment when finishing up.
You will be assessed by a WorkCover Assessor as part of this course.
Individuals who successfully complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment from the CPC Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package.
