If you’re looking for an entry-level job in the Hospitality industry, our Food Handling short course is the first step in the right direction. This covers the most important aspect of working in Hospitality – being hygienic.
Using hygienic practices for food safety will teach you to use personal hygiene practices to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses. You’ll also learn how to follow procedures and how to identify and control food hazards in the workplace.
These skills are used every day by cooks, chefs, caterers, kitchen hands and food beverage attendants and are skills that will always be valued in the Hospitality industry.
Individuals who successfully complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment from the SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package.
