Rikka Lamb

Director

A proud Murrawarri and Yuwaaliyaay women from Goodooga NSW. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Indigenous Health Promotion- Social and Emotional Wellbeing (University of Sydney).
My expertise and passion extends within the Health and Sporting industry. I was a former player of the South Sydney Rabbitoh’s women team and heavily involved in regional NSW communities to advocate and provide opportunities for Aboriginal people within the Murdi Paaki region.
I am honoured to be a director of REDI.E and will uphold the values of this organisation to ensure doors are open to opportunities, strong partnerships are formed and the communities we serve have positive career pathways and economic development.

Peter Gibbs

Chief Executive Officer

Peter Gibbs, also known as “Chicka,” is a Gamillaroi man from the community of Weilmoringle on the banks of the Culgoa River in far western NSW. He has over 30 years of experience working across Western NSW in community development and leadership.

Peter has worked in shearing sheds, on cotton fields, for the NSW Aboriginal Land Council, TAFE NSW Western Institute, and as an advisor to both Federal and State Government Ministers. He has served on the Skillset Senior College board and is an active member of the Bourke-based Nulla Nulla Local Aboriginal Land Council.

He was instrumental in the establishment of the IPROWD Program — a training model that prepares Aboriginal people for careers in the NSW Police Force, developed after the tragic death of his sister Fiona while in police custody. Today, IPROWD is one of the most recognised programs of its kind in NSW.

Peter continues to lead with purpose and vision, partnering with government, business, and community to create better life outcomes for Aboriginal people across the region.
