Emma gains employment! VTEC clients kicking goals

31 May, 2018

REDI.E (formerly known as MPREC) is proud to share that one of our star clients - who came to us through the Vocational Training and Employment Centres (VTEC) program and trained at the BlueRidge Cafe enterprise - has gained employment.

Emma Lawrence was a job seeker before she became a VTEC client. She has been working at BlueRidge Cafe as a Food and Beverage Attendant and has also been working in Administration in the REDI.E office.

Emma applied, interviewed and gained employment at a new Bar and Grill in Dubbo. She went through the process with great confidence. The skills Emma gained while working with REDI.E have helped her gain essential experience needed in her new job. The program also gave her more confidence in her abilities, helping her make the transition.

Retail Co-ordinator and Trainer Max Rabbett has worked with Emma. He says she has made great progress during her time with REDI.E.

“Emma has grown both personally and professionally whilst employed in the cafe and also the office,” he said.

“Seeing her be able to go out into the workforce and achieve great things is really wonderful to see.”

“I wish Emma every success in her future and cannot wait to see what else she can conquer throughout her professional career.”

REDI.E is proud to deliver programs that train job seekers and help them gain skills and confidence to transition into employment.
