REDI.E is set to host the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC)
in our Dubbo office, for a community information day.
The Deputy Commissioner will utilise the Conference Room this week, for an information session where the community can have their say about the voting system.
First Australians have a lower than average enrolment rate - right across the country. The AEC would like some feedback from the community to find out why this is the case.
They also want to discuss the issues that matter to our communities and how the government can help to increase voter turnout.
We look forward to facilitating this session. It is an important opportunity for First Australians to have a voice - and express their opinion on the voting process.
This initiative is funded/supported by the Australian Government.
