MPREC CDP Supervisors’ have blitzed the Australian Integrated Training (AIT) Work Safely in The Construction Industry course and we couldn’t be prouder!
The Supervisors took part in the one-day course, which they were required to complete in order to fulfil their roles as Activity Supervisors delivering CDP activities across the region to ensure safety of clients, community and MPREC employees.
The Supervisors’ successfully completed training in the following areas:
- Identifying WHS legislative requirements
- Identifying construction hazards and control measures
- Identifying communication and reporting processes
- Identifying incident and emergency response procedures
The course involved a variety of assessments, form written, oral and demonstration techniques along with responses to scenarios and case studies in a simulated work environment.
The Supervisors were issued with a WorkCover Authority of NSW Statement of Training on the day, a WHS Induction Construction pocket sized card from WorkCover Authority of NSW and a statement of attainment from AIT for Work Safely In the Construction Industry.
