In response to the continuing COVID - 19 outbreak in regional Western NSW, Allan Lamb, Chairman of the Regional Enterprise Development Institute Ltd (REDI.E), has announced that all program operations have been temporarily suspended for the safety of all staff, families and those in vulnerable communities.
Temporarily ceasing our services is never something we do lightly as we know it places added pressure and challenges on many in our regional communities.
As the Department of NSW Health has now extended the stay-at-home order for all of NSW including regional communities, for at least 7 days (15 August 2021 - 22 August 2021) it is important for us to be vigilant to the risks of exposure to COVID -19.
While these stay-at-home orders are in place we must stay home unless completely necessary, not gather or mix in large family groups and get tested where possible to ensure the health and safety of those around us.
REDI.E is taking a proactive approach to protecting our people, in particular our Elders and vulnerable communities, and will continue to follow the guidelines and advice given by NSW Health regarding all affected communities.
