Community Development Program
REDI.E is delivering the Community Development Program (CDP) – the Australian Government’s remote employment and community development service. Our CDP team works with job seekers to provide training opportunities, upskilling language literacy and numeracy programs, as well as work for the dole activities. The program also includes Employment Mentoring – where REDI.E staff mentor the job seekers to help them gain employment.

Each project is designed to simulate a work environment and to provide participants with the foundational skills required for employment.
The activities vary depending on the needs of the community and interests of the job seekers. They help our communities grow, while allowing the job seekers to gain confidence with new skills and give back to their people.
Our teams work closely with the community and other local organisations to identify opportunities for projects. By doing this, REDI.E is helping to give the community more control over the delivery of the CDP.
