Shibli Chowdhury - Financial Services Manager
Shibli grew up in Bangladesh and migrated to Australia with his wife in 2009 to study Finance. Over the course of his career, he has worked for several multinational companies and has extensive experience in sales, customer service & finance.
Shibli joined REDI.E as a Finance Officer in 2013 with the objective of delivering profitable growth and operational excellence - specifically focused on Australian Government projects. Once he began his work with REDI.E, he developed a fondness for remote Aboriginal communities. He also became involved in political and community organisations and has volunteered many hours of service to improving the lives of vulnerable people in regional NSW.
In 2018 Shibli received the Dubbo Day Award for his volunteer work and was recently nominated for the 2020 NSW Volunteer Award.
Shibli is currently the Financial Services Manager role and has been accepted to undertake his Masters in Professional Accounting at the University of New England. Shibli’s goal is to complete his CPA within the next few years.
Shibli has a strong focus on community projects and his goal for the organisation is to see these continue to grow. He believes these projects make a real difference in the lives of our people and help them to fulfill their potential.
He is passionate about creating opportunities for our people. He believes there is nothing better than seeing the happiness REDI.E brings to our communities. Shibli’s favourite part of his job is being able to experience the different cultures and stories of each community.
