REDI.E Host the 2022 Nattional Indigenous Touch Football knockout

REDI.E in partnership with Touch Football Australia (TFA), hosted the 2022 National Indigenous Touch Football Knockout on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of November, in Dubbo.

The event successfully returned, after a covid enforced hiatus in 2021, with 23 teams participating across 5 divisions.

The aim of the day was to encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to get up and participate and promote health and wellbeing.

David Peachey, REDI.E Sport Development Officer said “through us at REDI.E, it’s just about participation, showing up and smiles on people’s faces. Everyone just enjoying the game of touch football. Knowing our mob are getting out there, staying active, staying healthy and being those role models for the younger generations”.

The day was a great success and REDI.E look forward to hosting the event again in 2023.
