Have you ever wanted to complete a course or gain employment, but feel that you don’t have the skills you need to get started? The Skills for Vocational Pathways course will help you by developing the skills you will need for study and work.
It will give you the opportunity to develop strategies for workplace learning and how to solve problems. You will learn to how to use digital technology for workplace tasks and you’ll develop your reading, writing and communication skills. There is also a focus on developing your math’s skills that are needed for many workplace roles.
Depending on your interest, you may also complete six (6) units from Construction, Business, Hospitality, Retail or Community Services. This will give you the opportunity to learn some practical skills and knowledge that you may need in your next course or for future employment.
You will be required to study 14 units of competency to complete this qualification. There are 8 core units and 6 elective units.
