31 July, 2018

REDI.E has been recognised for our work and contribution to our communities through nominations in the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce & Industry Rhino Business Awards.

REDI.E strives to deliver meaningful education and training opportunities to assist in building empowered and prosperous communities in the region. We facilitate several major programs throughout the state and run a social enterprise in Dubbo to provide training and essential workplace skills to job seekers.

REDI.E have been nominated for Excellence in Innovation, while our Retail Coordinator and Trainer Max Rabbett has been nominated in the Outstanding Young Employee category.

The Excellence in Innovation Award recognises businesses that have made significant contributions to their industry through the introduction or improvement of an idea, method, technology, process or application.

While the Outstanding Young Employee Award recognises an inspirational young employee aged between 18-35 years.

Max has managed our BlueRidge Cafe Social Enterprise, training and mentoring job seekers to assist them in developing the life skills they need to get a job. He has seen several trainees go on to gain full time employment under his tutelage.

He is now training REDI.E staff and clients throughout Western NSW for Certificates in Business, Retail and Hospitality, so that these courses can be more available to remote communities.

Max is an impressive young man who has previously been recognised for his work with the Tom Harvey Award for Citizenship at the Commonwealth Day celebrations at Parliament House.

REDI.E is proud to deliver programs that drive positive change in our communities and it is an honour to be nominated alongside other exceptional businesses in the western region.
